Cackling chickens, a giant witch’s hut on legs, a not-so-friendly gnome, Parisian gardens, children playing, city catacombs, and finally, the majestic Great Gate of Kiev come alive in a visual accompaniment to the Mussorgsky’s music.
The DSO also welcomes award-winning guest artist Luke Hsu in a virtuosic performance of Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto.
