This event connects children and families with the wonders of science through engaging experiences in ecology, biology, physics, engineering, and more.
Featured attractions include a traveling science lab from the University of Illinois, interactive exhibits from community partners, and opportunities for participants to discover how science shapes the world around them. Recharge with live music by the Funkadelics and dinner from local food trucks.
Design and build parachute-building workshops being held at the Danville Public Library on August 7 from 9:00AM – 11:00AM and 1:00PM – 3:00PM, giving aspiring young scientists an opportunity to create and test their designs to see whose egg can survive the drop!
