First Fridays – Potterfest

Get ready to step into the wizarding world of PotterFest, on Friday, November 1st, from 5-8 PM.
When the clock strikes 5:00 PM, Vermilion Street will become Diagon Alley and North Street will turn into Knockturn Alley!
Pick up a scavenger hunt map at the Masonic Temple to find magical surprises at participating Downtown Danville shops. Turn in your completed scavenger hunt back to the Masonic Temple by 7:30 PM to enter the drawing for an exciting prize package!
Don’t forget to stop by Hogwarts at the Danville Public Library and other downtown businesses to catch your favorite scenes from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!
Treat yourself to a Butterbeer at Fatman’s Warehouse on North Vermilion Street or a magical treat at VRBC from Kayla’s Chic Treats.
See if you can find Hagrid in the Forbidden Forest, visit Dementor Cove, or perhaps try your hand at Quidditch in Danville Public Library’s lawn!
Explore the Masonic Temple, where a variety of PotterFest-themed booths, products, and activities await.
Feeling competitive? Head over to Temple Plaza for the Harry Potter Trivia Tournament at 6:00 PM! Registration begins at 5:30 PM for teams of four—first come, first serve.
