Danville National Cemetery

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, the Danville National Cemetery serves as the final resting place for veterans from the Civil War to present.  It is also home to the Soldier’s Monument, a granite based top with a bronzed life-sized figure depicting a young Civil War soldier holding his musket.
