Mary Thompson Community Day

July 14, 2024 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm CDT

The City of Danville Human Relations Commission and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Committee will sponsor their 30th Mary Thompson Annual Community Day on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The program will feature “As One Gospel Singers”, a gospel group from Indianapolis. The winner of Danville’s Got Talent, Delaine Robinson, will also perform.

Free food, such as barbecue, beverages and ice cream will be served.

Activities for children (ages 4-12) will be available. The event will also include free prizes.

The event is open to the public, and there is no admission fee.

In case of rain, Mary Thompson Community Day will be held at the Masonic Temple, 109 W. North St., Danville.
