Lincoln’s Birthday Open House at Vermilion County Museum
The Vermilion County Museum Society is celebrating Lincoln’s 215th birthday with an open house on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 1:30 to 4:00 PM in the Dr. William Fithian Home at 116 N. Gilbert St., Danville.
Due to heating issues in the Museum Center building, only the Fithian Home will be open for this event.
Cake will be served during the Open House. This is a FREE event. Parking is available in the Museum parking lot, Auto-Mobile Diagnostics, and Carle.

Lincoln birthday cards, created by students from County and Danville schools, will be on display in the Museum Center, for free, from February 13th to February 29th during regular business hours so students can see their cards on display. Four hundred and thirty-four cards were entered by students from fifteen local schools. The full list of winners can be viewed at: www.vermilioncountymuseum.org.
