Mary Poppins – A Novel Idea at the Fischer Theatre

On Thursday, February 8th, we present the live action Disney adaptation of Mary Poppins by P.L. Travers, starring Danville’s very own, Dick Van Dyke.
“In turn of the century London, a magical nanny employs music and adventure to help two neglected children become closer to their father.”
A special performance by Danville Light Opera will preempt the screening as part of their “Evolution of Broadway” event.
Tickets are FREE but only by visiting the Danville Public Library! Think of it as Required Reading.
