Master Gardeners – Garden Day 2023

The University of Illinois Extension Vermilion County Master Gardeners are partnering with Danville Area Community College to prepare for their annual Garden Day Workshop.

The all-day event features garden themed educational speakers, vendors and door prizes.

Registration is required to attend the sessions with our speakers. The $30 registration fee covers four speakers, a lunch prepared by the Danville Area Community College Culinary School and a Garden Day bag filled with treats and speaker handouts. See event website below for registration.

• Ryan Pankau presents, ‘Butterflies: If You plant It, They Will Come’
• Diane Plewa presents ‘Plant, Pathogens, and People, Oh My!’
• Pat Sollars and John Bodensteiner present ‘Adding Flowering Perennials, Shrubs and Trees To Your Landscape’

Attendees will enjoy shopping the garden themed vendors, donation basket room and silent auction.

For those who cannot commit to a whole day, the Spring Festival is open to the public from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at no charge.

All are welcome to come browse garden-themed vendors, baskets and the silent auction items.
