Annual Arts in the Park

35th Annual at Historic Lincoln Park – June 22 & 23, 2024

Featuring the Artists Promenade on display, Children’s Art Tent packed with activities, along with music, dance and entertainment at the Lincoln Park Bandshell throughout the weekend.

Saturday features the Art on Wheels Car Show. Registration at begins at 9am. Show runs until 3pm. Bring out your best ride!

Saturday also includes two Sidewalk Chalk Contests, at 10:30am and at 1:30pm. Divisions are preschool to kindergarten, 1st to 4th grade, 5th to 8th grade and high school to adult. Prizes awarded.

Also visit the historic Lamon House built in Danville around 1847 by Joseph B. and Melissa Beckwith Lamon.  Melissa was the daughter of Dan Beckwith, founder of Danville, IL.  Joseph was a cousin to Ward Hill Lamon, Lincoln’s law partner and body guard. It is one of the oldest frame residences in Danville and was moved from West North Street to its present location in 1984. Open both days.
