Clarence takes George on a journey around town\, showing him what the world would be like if he never existed\, and if none of his good deeds transpired. \n​ \nThis story is told by an ensemble cast\, retelling it as a radio broadcast in 1945. The stage is set as a radio studio and the audience becomes the studio audience. Actors tell the story together through their voices and foley sound effects. \n​ \n

Games and crafts will also be available for the children. \nAs a special activity this year\, attendees are encouraged to bring “A Present for a Pet.” Gifts will be donated to the Danville Humane Society. Items being collected include: paper towels\, clu\,ping cat litter\, durable chews (like nylabones)\, monetary donations or gift cards to Meijer\, Walmart\, Pet Supplies Plus\, or Amazon will also be accepted. Items will be accepted through December 19th and can be brought to the Museum during regular hours. \nParkin g is available in adjacent lots at Carle. For additional information call the Museum at 217-442-2922. \nThe Fithian Home will be open for touring and guides will tell the story of the home.

When George feels like there is no other option than to leave everything behind\, he is promptly met by Clarence\, a guardian angel. Clarence takes George on a journey around town\, showing him what the world would be like if he never existed\, and if none of his good deeds transpired. \n​ \nThis story is told by an ensemble cast\, retelling it as a radio broadcast in 1945. The stage is set as a radio studio and the audience becomes the studio audience. Actors tell the story together through their voices and foley sound effects. \n​ \n
