SUMMARY:Fuego Latino & Trunk or Treat Sponsored by Amanda Galloway Country Financial @ The Berry Cool Market
DESCRIPTION:Berry Cool Market at the Library! \nSaturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. \nFuego Latino & Trunk or Treat Sponsored by Amanda Galloway Country Financial @ The Berry Cool Market \nTrunk or Treat at The Berry Cool Market is once again sponsored by Amanda Galloway – Country Financial!  \nOctober 18th will feature music by the superlative Fuego Latino\, the return of the goat petting zoo and pumpkin painting.  \n  \nFor more info re: The Berry Cool Market and being or becoming a vendor\, check out the info below… \nIn 2023\, The Berry Cool Market was voted the Best Community Event in Vermilion County … and we plan to continue living up to this honor again in 2025! \n  \nNew for 2025: The Berry Cool Market will also be at the DPL for First Friday events throughout the Summer and Fall: August 1\, September 5 and October 3 (and possibly beyond). In addition\, The Berry Cool Market will once again be participating in the Kruger’s Annual Trunk or Treat and Harry Potter Fest (November 7)―events that brought over 2\,000 people through our market in 2024! \n  \nAlong with our friendly\, familial environment\, The Berry Cool Market will feature live music by the area’s top musicians and other demonstrations\, activities\, and family friendly events throughout the season. \n  \nNot doing our market yet? Why not? The Berry Cool Market is free for vendors! No applications. No sign-up fees. No weekly fees. No advance commitments. No drama. If you grew it or created it or baked it\, you can show up and sell it! And we’re in a park (not a parking lot). Just show up\, set up and have fun! \nDetails (and some new rules): \n  \n―Again\, starting June 14\, 2025\, The Berry Cool Market will take place every Saturday from 9am-1pm at the Danville Public Library. Our end date (sometime in October) will be determined in relation to weather. \n  \n―While set up for vendors is FREE\, we do ask that vendors comply with a few rules… \n  \n―Please do not show up before 8am to set up; set up will begin on or around 8am when market staff arrives to designate spots. Vendors can park on the South side of the parking lot and overflow in the Southeast parking lot. Vendors will set up their booth in the park area. Vendors will supply their own tables\, chairs and tents. \n  \n―Vendors should be courteous and respectful towards your fellow vendors and those running the market … be it in-person or via e-mail. \n  \n―Vendors should only sell food\, soaps\, jewelry\, baked goods\, art\, books\, or other items that they have made or baked or created or grown themselves. We do not allow reselling items purchased elsewhere or direct sale vendors reselling corporate products (ie: make-up\, oils\, candles etc). \n  \n―If you have sold baked goods or produce or fresh eggs at other markets\, we presume that you should be familiar with and are complying with state and county food laws and regulations. You must be certified to sell baked goods. You also must be licensed to sell fresh eggs. If you need information re: selling baked goods or fresh eggs\, please contact the Vermilion County Health Department at 217-431-2662. \n  \n―Since First Fridays are always heavily attended\, after the June 6 Jumanji event\, vendors will need to attend one Saturday market during the month in order to receive a priority spot at the following month’s First Friday event. \n  \n―Additionally\, in order to qualify for the aforementioned Trunk or Treat and Harry Potter Fest events\, vendors will need to attend six (6) Saturday markets throughout the summer. \n  \n―If you have any questions about The Berry Cool Market or you would like to join our vendor family\, please contact Albert King at ackn2016@gmail.com or 217-799-3970.
