DESCRIPTION:Explore the sea this summer with DLO Musical Theatre’s production of Disney Pixar’s “Finding Nemo Jr.”\nIn partnership with Danville District 118\n\nJuly 12\, 7:00pm\nJuly 13\, 7:00pm\nJuly 14\, 2:00pm\nMarlin\, an anxious and over-protective clownfish\, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo\, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney\, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory\, laid-back sea turtle Crush\, and the supportive Tank Gang\, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. \nThis musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo features new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (the team behind Frozen).

DESCRIPTION:The City of Danville Human Relations Commission and the Martin Luther King\, Jr. Celebration Committee will sponsor their 30th Mary Thompson Annual Community Day on Sunday\, July 14\, 2024\, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. \nThe program will feature “As One Gospel Singers”\, a gospel group from Indianapolis. The winner of Danville’s Got Talent\, Delaine Robinson\, will also perform. \nFree food\, such as barbecue\, beverages and ice cream will be served. \nActivities for children (ages 4-12) will be available. The event will also include free prizes. \nThe event is open to the public\, and there is no admission fee. \nIn case of rain\, Mary Thompson Community Day will be held at the Masonic Temple\, 109 W.
