SUMMARY:Vermilion County Museum Holiday Open House
DESCRIPTION:FREE EVENT! \nSanta Claus will be present for photos and families are invited to partake of holiday refreshments\, with children being able to decorate their own special Christmas cookie. Games and crafts will also be available for the children. \nAs a special activity this year\, attendees are encouraged to bring “A Present for a Pet.” Gifts will be donated to the Danville Humane Society. Items being collected include: paper towels\, clu\,ping cat litter\, durable chews (like nylabones)\, monetary donations or gift cards to Meijer\, Walmart\, Pet Supplies Plus\, or Amazon will also be accepted. Items will be accepted through December 19th and can be brought to the Museum during regular hours. \nParkin g is available in adjacent lots at Carle. For additional information call the Museum at 217-442-2922. \nThe Fithian Home will be open for touring and guides will tell the story of the home.
