DESCRIPTION:VCMG Garden Day 2026 Workshop\nThis popular event has been a tradition for over 25 years and has everything plant lovers enjoy: exceptional speakers\, vendors\, a delicious hot lunch\, a silent auction\, donation baskets\, and door prizes. It is a great way to shake off the winter blues and get inspiration for this year’s garden.\n\n\nDate: Saturday\, March 14\, 2026\nTime: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Danville Area Community College\, 2000 East Main St.\, Danville IL\nFee: $35 for Workshop with 4 Speakers\, Lunch Prepared by DACC Culinary School\, and a Garden Day Bag filled with treats and speaker handouts\nYour seat is reserved when your payment is received.\n\n\nThis event has sold out in past years\, so don’t wait too long to register if you plan to attend.\nSeats are first-come\, first-served.  Speakers are tentative and subject to change.\n\n\n Speakers for this year’s event: \n\n\n9:10-10:10 am Jack McCoy | Home Vegetable Gardening\n10:30-11:30 am Jim Angel | Gardening and Climate Change\n1:00-2:00 pm Chris Benda | Illinois Native Wildflowers for the Home Garden\n2:15-3:15 pm Tinisha Spain | Mid-American Gardener\n\nAttendees will enjoy shopping at the garden-themed vendors\, donation basket room\, and silent auction.\nFor those who cannot commit to a whole day\, the Spring Festival is open to the public from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at no charge.\n\nAll are welcome to browse garden-themed vendors\, baskets\, and silent auction items. \n*** Please note the silent auction and basket room are cash or check only.
