SUMMARY:River to Rail Bike Ride for KRT
DESCRIPTION:The River to Rail Ride bicycling event is back this year on September 13\, 2025. \nHosted by the Vermilion County Conservation District\, the event will have four routes starting at Kennekuk County Park with all proceeds benefiting the continued development of the Kickapoo Rail Trail. \nRegistration is now open. All proceeds from this fundraising bicycle event will support the continued development of the Kickapoo Rail Trail. \nThe four SAG-supported cycling routes – 7.5-mile\, 30-mile\, 37-mile\, and 63-mile – all begin and end at the White Oak Barn\, Kennekuk County Park. With the exception of the 7.5-mile route\, cyclists will bike the entire completed section of the Vermilion County KRT including the 1/4-mile Trestle Bridge 90 feet over the Middle Fork River.Those that register by Thursday\, August 28 will be guaranteed a t-shirt in their requested size.
