DESCRIPTION:The Vermilion County Conservation District will be hosting the 39th Annual Conservation Olympics event at Forest Glen Preserve on Friday\, May 12\, 2023. \nSix Vermilion County Schools (Oakwood\, Salt Fork\, Judith Giacoma\, Mary Miller Junior High\, Schlarman\, and Bismarck) will send their 6th grade students to compete in Olympic-style events while also having to answer conservation-related questions. \nThe schedule of events is below\, we would love to invite you to attend to cover the event! \nWe will headquarter our event at the Edgwood Center\, it’s the first building facility you will see upon entering Forest Glen. DESCRIPTION:The Reluctant Dragon is a peaceful fellow who likes tea\, poetry\, and an afternoon snooze. Mischievous children stir the villagers to call in the famous dragon slayer\, Saint George. A young lad befriends both of the ‘adversaries’ and arranges a meeting between them.
