Maple Syrup Hike

Come out and join a guided hike at Forest Glen Preserve on March 13th at 1:30 pm. The hike follows Willow Creek Trail and participants will learn the history of syrup making from the time of the native Americans thru the settlement years to the modern day process.
Hikers are invited to tour the building that houses the syrup making machinery, known as the sugar bush, at the end of the hike. An opportunity to buy syrup will depend on this year’s production.

Hikers should meet in the Gannett Outdoor Education Center Parking Lot by 1:30 p.m. Properly worn facemasks by all participants are encouraged.
